new user - setting home location

Hi. Please take it easy on this newbie.
Just purchased one XL and having trouble entering my home location which is out in the country. The street name comes up but it will not let me enter my exact house number. I even tried entering a very close cross road by but it won't accept it. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks in advance.

Use 'My location' instead of searching for a street address that it can't do. This method will just use the GPS cooridinates of your location. If you are off the road (at the end of a long lane, for example) go down to the entrance to do this. You must be on a road on the map for this work.
