New user questions...

Brand new TT user (ONE LE) and new to the whole GPS thing. Couple of questions:

1. HOME S/W -- downloaded and installed (WinXP). Many of the screen titles refer to the TT GO; are there specific HOME versions for the different products? (i.e. HOME for ONE vs HOME for GO??)

2. Do I really need the HOME software? Or can I update my ONE directly via the website?

3. And finally, for the past couple of days, www.tomtom.com has been extremely slow. So much so that my browser keeps timing out. Tried accessing from a different computer and different network, same results. Is this normal??

Yes you need home to update....LOTS and LOTS of new users trying to do the same this at once ....wait till late at night...

There is only one version of Home and it works for all TomTom models.
