New TT owner questions

Okay, here's my questions, sorry if they're newbie. First, when my POIs come up, how do I see or not what the name of the POI is. I know it's a hotel for instance, but what's the name of it? How do I get it to tell me?
Then, how can I change the cursor or marker from the arrow to a car, like you can with the Garmin nuvis. Also, where can I type in what I am looking for, to see it find one for me? Also, I bought a ONE LE from BestBuy for $149 yesterday, and it didn't have a CD with it. Should it have? Isn't that where I get the Irish voices?

Hello.
When searching through the POIs, it should list the name of the POI and not just say motel or hotel. It should list it as Holiday inn with the icon.
The 720 and 920 are the only units that allow you to change the cursor arrow.
A CD came with my ONE but it was the HOME software.
You might want to contact TT Support about getting you those voices.

Just to clear up your question, I'm assuming that you mean that you see a POI symbol on the screen while you are navigating, and you want to know it's name. Obviously, if you try to touch the symbol, the menu screen pops up.

I'm not sure if there is a solution to this. TomTom would assume that you're so darn close to it that you can see it.
