Hi.
i've been using verizon navigator on my phone for the last couple years, but have been wanting a regular GPS for a while now. well the other day i was offered 1x used (basically brand new) tomtom ONE from a friend for 1/2 price. i could pass that up and bought it.
so far i really really like it. but i believe i'm already thirsting for more power (capabilities). in my house almost all of my devices interact with each other and are quite capable. from my psp, ps3, tv, computers, etc...etc... they all interact nicely. but i can't seem to get my phone to work with the gps (i got a feeling it's another stupid verizon problem. they seem to lock all the features on their phones.)
the only thing that i really don't like about it is that it's alot less capable than my verizon navigator was. on VZN it included updates, navigate using traffic, weather, etc...etc...etc...
all same features that are also available on the tomtom, but on the tomtom i'll have to pay $100 for that little receiver dealio and then have to pay a subscription to the various services. i wouldn't quite mind the services, but $100 for the little receiver part seems really high.
