New TomTom owner with a ?

Just dumped my garmin C340 for a new TomTom XL 1. I must say I really enjoy the XL over my garmin. It's great being able to customize it.

I do have a question for those in the know... I'm using the Mandy US voice and she uses the term motorway instead of highway/freeway/ramp etc. Why is this?

Not sure, but maybe Mandy was born in Europe.

That's one of the reasons I use Lori's voice. She says 'highway' instead of 'motorway'.

Just a suggestion.

I'm pretty sure Mandy is English_UK. You want Susan who (which ) is English_US.
