Hello, just picked up this unit at Best Buy as an early Father's day gift from my wife....yes I shop for myself when elctronics are involved Looking forward to learning a lot for y'all about my first GPS.

Welcome. The first thing to do is BACKUP the entire contents of the unit using Explorer, not TT Home. Also, make sure you don't have Windows hide extensions for known file types; also, unhide hidden files. Now, you're good to go for the backup.

Welcome and congrats on the new Father's Day Self Gift... I been using mine since Dec. and for me it works great, I put it thru a lot customer address's during the day and also on my motorcycle and it has preformed excellent, I'm not a real techie person but I do like gadgets....... don't need a whole lot of other stuff the bigger units have, so enjoy yours, lots of great info on this site.
