New TomTom Home Update Does Not Finish

I just tried to get on my TomTom thru my computer on TomTom Home. The normal screen came up about updating various things and then another box opened overtop that. This box said a critical TomTom Home application needed to be downloaded. It then started the wizard which I followed. After a few steps it said it did not finish and try again later. I've tried this several times with no success.

Is this a general problem specific to this new upgrade or is it specific to my computer or TomTom??

1. Download the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller from here:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

2. Completely remove Home 2.

3. Get a fresh copy from tomtom.com/home and install.

The Uninstaller is pretty nice.

I downloaded the latest but I then had to reboot my computer to get it installed.
