Bought my XL 330S in April/09 and I'm crtainly very pleased with it. I checked other devices and this had all the features I was looking for. After all this time I have some things I'm curious about. A major highway nearby (QEW in St. Catharines) is being expanded. Will this eventually show on the map as a Map Share update? Also I was wondering if the battery can be replaced if and when it should give up the ghost.

Physical changes to roadways/highways can't be added via mapshare, only reported and hopefully the new roads will appear in an updated map sometime.

But, considering the lack of inclusion of Advanced Lane Guidance and Reality View for just about all of Canada, even in the newest 840 maps, well, does the expression "don't hold your breath" mean anything?

TT batteries are not meant to be (easily) replaced but there are threads here about replacing batteries for vaious models like a 910, a 720, etc........so it can be done.

Thanks for the reply -- much appreciated. My XL 330S doesn't come apart so I can just hope the battery lasts and the price of new units keeps coming down.
