New NA maps for 510?

Can the new NA version 7 maps be used on a 510 if I use a 2GB SD card? Only the USA & Canada maps are available for the 510 through HOME and the TomTom website. Any thoughts are appreicated.

Yes, they can. There are apparantly two versions of the NA maps. One about 1.5g in size and the other around 2g. I have the smaller one and it fits easily on the 2g card. The larger one could be fit on 2g by deleting unnecessary voice files etc. I've seen some post here about this being done.
