Hi All,

Anyone notice the new product pages for the Go Live series on the TomTom UK site? They seem to have removed the 3rd of the line up (cant remember which model it was, think maybe 1005 Europe?) so now there's only 2 models showing. Add to that the fact that the buy online option for the second model isn't there, that is the TomTom store doesn't sell it anymore does this indicate they're getting rid of final stocks in prep for model refresh? What do you guys think?

Who knows but there is a Consumer VIP event in Amsterdam on April 17th, a Commercial Vehicle show in the UK on the 19th and a Transport 2013 show in Denmark tomorrow (April 4th).

So............ ??

All these things added up, it would be surprising if there wasn't some new product information, but as you say, who knows.

On the last financial call, Tomtom's CEO said that they would be announcing a new generation of products in 2013, and over the next 1-2 years the new generation will totally replace their entire current lineup.

Not sure how soon the announcement of that new generation will be.

I think that ties in nicely with the fact that they seem to be streamlining their current product line up.

Here we go again .... hopefully ...NOT another screwed-up like VIAs ...

I have my eyes on the new one for this year's Black-friday ... A truely hand-free voice comamnd ..

Guess what ...NOT a TT ...!!

Tesco today gave me a £20 off any TomTom device. Out if interest I popped into Halfords and many of their TomTom's had a big £50 off promo (along with bundle deals on these premium models). Maybe these guys are clearing some of their stock?
