New Map V 710.1609 Available

I just downloaded and installed the new v710.1609 NA map on my TT GO700.
After several problems with getting the map order to be available for downloading, TT Tech Support assisted with the download. Even the Customer Rep was surprised to learn that I received the newest version. He thought his version 710.1575 was the latest.

Any idea what was cut out to make this version smaller?

Are these new maps for the 7xx only? I have a TT 920T and have v710.1576 installed.

My TT home says I have the latest maps.

Where did you get these new maps on TT site?

What size was the download 1736mb. I see the 7.10 download in the UK site but it does not say what revision it is .157 or the new .160 as it just says 7.10.

The only difference in the 7.10 maps for the 720 and the 920 is the size of the poi file. To be able to fit the maps on the 720 they had to cut 2/3s of the pois out. For instance the shop pois went from about 100 MBs to a little over 1. Churches were cut out all together. I'm running 710.1609 on my 720 using a 4 GB SDHC card. It works great and I have a ton more pois than I did with the 7.10 maps that I got via the map guarentee.
