Hey guys

I just got my new 720 not long ago and I'm having a blast with it.
I've been seeing a lot of custom POI's and I'm wondering...

when you add a custom POI file (like Tim Hortons), will it overwrite all the POI's from the original North_America_2GB database or will they all show up in doubles?

I seldom answer the technical questions but I think I am safe in saying no. The custom poi will not overwrite your original file. There is (was) a limit to the number of custom poi's you could add though.

Adding custom POI's will not touch any of the built-in ones.

Welcome, and yes they will not overwrite anything. I'm running two groups of Tim hortons in mine (my own and the one from here) and it just shows up twice in the list.

Just make sure you name one a little different when you copy it into your TT so windows doesn't ask to overwrite.
