Curiosity here - does the new map take the new US Daylight Saving Time rules into consideration?, or is that emedded in the firmware?

Beginning in 2007, most of the U.S. will begin Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and revert to standard time on the first Sunday in November.

This would be important when we plan routes based on arrival time.

No. It doesn't take any local times into consideration. It is not in the firmware either. Your TT works with UTC time. If you want the clock to display your local time, you have to set it yourself. Does your watch take the new DST into consideration? ;)

Ha, good point on the watch, but hey - it's a computational device. If I set home to be in a specific location, I'd think it'd be aware of it's place in the universe, and adjust accordingly. Feature request! ;)
