New day new question

I'm wondering if the day should come when my 630 tom tom is either stolen or I loose it .. could I use my saved explorer files to a New 630 device again ??

Or does each device not recognize the exchanged device with saved backup to home explorer???

No, files from one unit, even the same model, won't work on another. The map in particular.

Maps are locked to a specific unit when first installed. No sharing between units.

All the other stuff, like voices, applications, mapshares and gpsquickfix files are free for all users and can be downloaded anytime using Home.
