New 720 - updates failing/ TT Home errors

I just brought home a new 720 which replaced the Garmin 750 I got for Christmas (didn't like the lack of features on that).

I can't update the 720's software - the install keeps hanging in the Home app and giving me errors like:

Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) (ttlltem.location)

I've tried this in both Vista and XP Pro on my machine and the same thing keeps happening. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

Hey Ryan,
There were some complaints about the servers going down over the weekend.
Users were given an error when trying log in to their accounts.

I actually returned the 720 this morning... the errors combined with some things I really didn't like about the unit's interface and route choices after messing with it for a while.

I'm gonna hold off for another 6 months or so I think and see what else comes out from the GPS companies...

Just a guess, but there probably not be much in terms of new tech, just updates to code
