I live in a crescent about 30 ft from the main road. Every time i try to navigate anywere it creates a plan that loops me around the entire crescent to get to the second entrance to the main road then wraps me back crossing the 30 feet from my house? I've figured that you can ignore the section of the route or just mentaly ignore it but it just doesn't make sense.

hope that wasn't to confusing but does anyone have any suggestions?

Also does anyone have any suggestions on were to get any accessories? Like a carying case or memory cards?

I have a similar problem in the initial routing from my home which is in the middle of a street. It often starts me out in a short loop away from my destination. I just ignore it and the unit quicky re-routes when I don't follow the first turn. But it does make you wonder.

Remember that this is a machine, a tool, a guide. You are the boss, so if you don't like the routing, do your own and the TomTom will quickly adapt. ;)

Memory cards are the same SD cards used in many digital cameras. They are sold anywhere that cameras are sold. Are you sure you need one? Everyone thinks they need a card, but most don't. (On the One, it's only good for holding an additional map you have purchased.)

As for cases, use the 'search' function on the forum and you will find mention of an inexpensive case for the ONE found at Target.

I am having the same type of issue. I live in the middle of the block off of a main road. Pretty much any route I do, I have to go to the main road to get there. My TomTom always routes me back through the neighborhood and has me turn onto another street that eventually leads me to the main road. Pulling out of my driveway and going direct to the main road is a much shorter distance than around the block. It seems to me the tomtom would have the logic to know that. It makes me wonder how far out of the way am I going when I am in an area that I am not familiar with.
