I have a TomTom Nav built into my 2011 Renault Laguna (might be the Carminat model). I bought a map update about 3 years ago when I bought the car.

It is bleeping warning me about non-existant 31 mph speed cameras on motorways. The photo yesterday was from the M1 and on the M6 north of Stoke I get constant beeping for about 3 or 4 miles.

I don't mind splashing £40 on another map update if this fixes it? I did a free update by inserting the SD card into a computer and running TomTom Home but that has made no difference.

Many thanks in advance!

There is no free update on Carminat. Only the software is updated for free.

In addition, in the map updates, radars are not included, you must purchase the radar service separately.

On Carminat, it is easy to add personal radar POIs.

Do a factory reset of the device, the personal POIs will be erased.

Thanks for your reply. How would I do a reset to get rid of any custom POIs please?

Is there a file I can delete on the SD card that contains the erroneous speed cameras?

I do not have any personal radar POIs unless somebody else created them - maybe I downloaded a custom list of speed traps? I cannot recall now.
