MyDrive Connect not doing anything? Screeenshot attached.

Hi all! I've had this little problem recently when updating my Tomtom 6000. As you can see from the attached screenshot this is where it's supposed to say 'downloading software'. But as you can see - this is all I'm getting.


Anyone else experienced this or know a workaround? I'm not receiving any errors or anything. It showed me what needs updating, now it's not doing anything.

Looks like you have the new 'version 4' of the MyDrive application. Since everyone who downloads and installs the new version is automatically being connected to the TomTom server, even without a device connected, they have been pretty swamped over the last couple of days. In my case yesterday, I was finding it necessary to 'Retry' about 50% of the time. Today, it seems to be behaving better, though it requires a good bit of patience to get things moving - and there's no visual confirmation that something is being processed and that there's hope for eventual activity!

Is your problem persistent? Might be worth shutting it down and restarting it once. Find the systray icon in the lower right, and right click it. Left click the little gear icon and select "Quit". Restart and see how it goes.

I think you were right about them being swamped. I tried it just now as I got in and it started to download as soon as it connected. I thought it was a problem with my end. I tried all my cables and none worked. Going to leave it on overnight and check in the morning. Thanks
