My TT XL350TM reboots every now and then

I only had it so far for 3 days but it crashed/rebooted on me maybe 5, 6 times already? I note that I received a new map update and installed a GPSFix prg since first using the TT. I did an Explorer backup on the original content, but didn't click the 'show hidden files' part: is this crucial or did I succeed backing up everything?

If useful, here are my other specs:
App 9.150.554646.2, OS 541764
(4002, 21/7/2010)
64 MB RAM (free: 13.8 MB)
GPS v1.20, Boot 5.5274
Map: 'USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P' v855.2934

If anyone has a solution or comments, that'll be great. Thx in advance!

I find that it reboots a lot more when its plugged into the cigarette lighter

I find that it reboots a lot more when its plugged into the cigarette lighter

A recent post suggested turning it on and letting it aquire sattelite first and THEN attach to cigarette lighter adapter.

I haven't heard a reboot (knock on wood) even since I returned for a new unit and used only Explorer for backups.
