Having picked up hints from other threads and forums:
1) With Windows 7 64-bit, 'My TomTom' must be run in administrator mode. This solved my download problem.
2) I normally use Google's Chrome browser & the update to my Via 120 would not work, switching to IE9 immediately resulted in the update starting.
