My screen is damage

I was just riding down the road and this happen. It flashed a few time between fixed and broken before the screen went back to it's current state. I tried reseting and no luck.

I'm gonna call tomtom up as soon as the lines open, but has anybody elese had this problem?

I haven't had this issue. Have you tried resetting the unit with a paper clip?

That looks like a definite hardware problem... damaged LCD screen. Every other line is blank. I would think that would be covered under the 1-yr warranty.

If it is less than a month old, you can exchange it for another unit. This will be faster than sending it to TomTom and waiting for it to be returned.

...took mine back for a touch screen related failure..... I was getting the same display, and it was doing it's own random entries. ..not too cool when you're relying on it for a route, and it picks one in another state all on it's own..... Best buy was co-operative and I'm happy again.
