My drive route planning gone awry

Ok, I use the bus section of my Go Expert Plus as I travel all over Europe. Now, with my Go620 I could plot a route adding in waypoints such as fuel stops, border crossings etc in my drive, move waypoints around until I was happy, send that route to my device and hey presto, off we jolly well go.
With my new Go Expert Plus, I plot route etc with mydrive yet when I send to the device it only navigates to the final destination, all the waypoints don’t show up, or get transferred over. However, if I change the vehicle type to a van I have no issues, the waypoints all appear and my route is how I want.
Curiously, if I then change my vehicle to a bus on the device, the route remains the same with all the waypoints there
Does anyone else have this issue? Perhaps for a truck?

Perhaps there are restrictions on buses and trucks that prevent you from following the planned route?

Yes there’s the usual weights and heights to consider but I’ve set these on my device and they should be (and are) taken into account when it plans the route, regardless of the number of waypoints.
I don’t have the bus option setup on myDrive, never have, but that’s really neither here nor there. The issue is it not sending the waypoints when device vehicle is set to bus but it does when set to van

Normally Tomtom does not differentiate between a bus and a truck so if your route includes prohibitions you cannot follow this route.

Now try to configure the bus option on Mydrive to see what Mydrive offers you as a route.

Correct, the bus is really just an overlay of the truck one but it doesn’t include the like of ADR which is truck specific.
Yes obviously if there’s restrictions on route it’ll divert around those but maybe I didn’t make it clear, regardless of the route you plan in my drive , when you send it to your device the route differs depending on the settings of your device. Setting up those options on Mydrive just gives a more accurate route on Mydrive.
Anyway, I’ve had another look, sent a route and the waypoints have come through so maybe the first device I had from Amazon was just dodgy.
