The 1005 has no mp3 player capability, the last TomTom product to offer the mp3 player was the Go-940 Live which only sold in Europe - Mike

Maybe I should refraise to" how can I convert mp 3 to aax file format"

The 1005 has no media player capability at all and its not possible to add a media player to it, you cannot add files to the 1005 other than using MyTomTom and that doesn't support aax files, perhaps you should restart this thread explaining what you are trying to do, if it involves playing music on a Go-1005 then forget it - Mike
