Moving the display screen to the left

I recently purchased a new display screen and installed it .
The screen has a black section on the left side and the far right is missing the display data which would normally be displayed.
I have tried to different values for Max X and Min X but this does not move the actual screen only the touch points on the screen. Is there a method to move the screen so I can see the complete display

Have you tried the reset hole on the bottom of the device?
