missing songs

I've got an 8gb sd in my 720 with about 900 songs on it all added through Tomtom Home. My Tomtom is only recognizing bands starting with A through F. I did find a thread similar to this, but it never reached a definite answer. One person said there might be a limit on what it can catalog, while another person said there's plays there full library fine.

Tomtom not showing some songs. Anyone know exactly why?

I believe the limit is somewhere around 2,000 before the application starts replacing existing items with newer ones on the list.

So, things to ask......are all mp3s in a folder called mp3 (all lower case)/

Just curious whether you may have a corruption in a file starting with 'G' that prevents the unit from recognizing any beyond 'F'. For the heck of it, just copy your G files to the computer temporarily and see if others past F show up.
