Memory on TomTom XL 330/330S

Can someone tell me how much memory the TomTom XL 330 & 330-S models come with? My searching on this forum has found mention of 2GB, as does Best Buy and Future Shop's websites. Other Internet searches mention 1GB though, and TomTom's official site makes no mention of it at all.

The reason I ask is I just got a 130S, but was disappointed that the v815 maps required me to remove almost everything else off the device to make room. I'm not convinced I need the wide screen, but I can get the 330S for only $10 more on sale right now, so if the memory is improved it's definitely worth it.

It is only 1GB which is almost full because of the synth voice for the turn by turn street names on the device. I removed everything I did not need and freed up about 22MB but that is it. It also has the US and Canada map which is larger than just the USA maps.

everything was deleted off my xl 330. now when i try to add new updates all i get are error codes. any help? thanks
