memory card issues

when I install my 2g sd card in my TT one XL-S it just comes up with a screen that shows the TT unit with the sd card being removed and then it shows the sd card beside the unit with a red X over the card. I dont know it its saying not to remove the card or if its saying it has a problem with the card. I have heard that the TT One has to copy all info to the card but I have let it flash the image of the red X over the card for an hour and a half now can anyone help The memory card just says SD it does not say SDHC and it is pny brand

The issue, I believe, is NOT the fact the card is NOT a sdhc card; in fact, I don't think your model can deal with that type of card.

The red X signifies the unit cannot detect an operating system. And you are correct. Everything on your model has to be on EITHER internal OR the card.
