Mapshare updates

I made a number of changes on my 7.15 map, moved some business's that were in the wrong location, added a couple of POI's, etc. and then connected to TT HOME to upload.

2 days later I put my 675 map card in my Rider2, connected to HOME and let it do its update thing.

None of the changes I added show on my 675, even though it showed it was downloading mapshare updates.

Anyone else notice this with any Mapshare changes you have made?

From what I have read on other posts on these forums, updates are map version specific.

AFAIK 675 are Navteq maps which don't support mapshare. 715 was the conversion to Teleatlas which does.

Are you certain?

I do believe the 675 and the 715 are Tele maps.

Plus, when I connect my 675 to HOME, it does indeed download updates.

The 667 map is Nav.

That's my understanding too ....... 6.75 is the minimum level for mapshares.

When it comes to comparing how TomTom software DOES run vs. how it SHOULD run, well, too often we're ALL wrong!!

Good news.

Updated my mapshare today, and the changes I made and uploaded with my 675 now show up on my 715. Takes a couple of days I guess.
