Just wondering, what is the latest map version that Tom Tom has out? Is it 665 or the 7?

I think the only way at the moment is to purchase a new TT720. The rest of us will have to wait until TomTom feels we are worthy!

You can purchase it using HOME or logging into www.tomtom.com

I just checked through Home, and they were only selling v6.75 maps for my One.

Does this actually work? Someone mentioned the problem of having to give a phony UK address, which of course does not match your credit card info. Has anyone in North America actually done this?

And the even bigger question, is the upgrade worth it?

your right...is it worth it? It might be for the mapshare technology. Why would they offer a new US map in the UK before they would release the new US map in the US? Kind of strange. Is the new map really updated?

Don't know why but it was the same when TT has the free map upgrade. NA was offered the 6.65 map while Europe was offered the NA 6.75.
