I live in an area where the main route into my community is pretty much the only route that gets me to and from anywhere. It recently was re-routed by new construction and obviously, it's not on the current map. This means anytime I use my TT to travel anywhere, it indicates I'm not on any road while I'm on the 11 mile stretch of new road. It makes using route planning sort of useless, although once I reach the intersection to the old road, it becomes accurate again.
My question is mostly about the site routes.tomtom.com. There is no reason to upgrade my map until this new road is updated on the maps. Can anyone advise me of their past experiences when it comes to using routes.tomtom.com. Should I assume that once the new road is being displayed in routes.tomtom.com that the road will more than likely be in the next new map release?
Thanks for any opinions.
