map updates

Hello,

There is some 500MB left on my internal memory. This includes the map my TomTom GO 730 came with. I would like to update this map (1.7 GB). Do I need a new SD card or will the updated map just overwrite the outdated map? Thank you very much.

A map update will eraze the old map prior to installing the new one so you don't need a memory card for the device - Mike

Hold off the updating for a few more days. There is some feeling the 845 map will be released on February 14th.
