Map updates to user or device?

Hello. I own a Go 630 and purchased the map updates service. I recently stumbled across a Go 730 for a great price, so I bought it. If I sell the 630, can I keep the map update service for the 730? I haven't received any updates yet if that matters.

Unfair as it may seem, map subscriptions are supposedly associated with one specific unit.

Having said that, because you have yet to get an update, why not call support at 866-486-6866 and see if they'll do a switch for you.
