Map Update Voucher

I have a new (registered about 2 weeks ago) XXL Europe 42 and have just purchased a 2 year map update voucher from Halfords (half-price). It states that this voucher must be used within 90 days of registering the device. Am i better off leaving the voucher update until say 85 days after registering (thus not wasting 2 months updates) assuming it gives me 2 years from when the voucher is used or does it give me 2 years from the registration date? This is not clear from the instructions!

Checked with Tomtom and discovered that the map update voucher lasts for 2 years from its use. That means it's better to use it just before the 90 days after unit registration time is up to get longer cover!
