Map Update Issues

I updated the map on my TTR2 (North_America_2GB v845.2647). Now all my favorites are gone, all the corrections I had are gone and just for fun. The driving display is not showing the correct street names. Instead of showing (Smith St.) it shows (Hwy 1622). It’s doing this for most of the streets. I called TomTom help. They said my map was corrupted. They had me delete it and download it again. I still have the same issues.

Has anyone else had the problem and found a fix?

If you copy the mapsettings.cfg from a backed up map folder to the new folder, your favourites should be restored, try it.

I updated as well, and only had to copy over the mapsettings.cfg from my Explorer based back up.

The other issue I cant help you on, as mine does not do that.
