I got a 720 yesterday and have not activated the map share yet. Does the 1 year start when I connected it to home yesterday or the day I accept to use map share and use the promo code supplied for this in box?

My understanding is the 30-day clock starts the first time the user logs into TomTom using TTHome. I would guess the 1-year clock works the same way.

By the way, using version 2.1 of Tomtom Home, the promo code is no longer asked for when you use the 30-day guarantee option.
