TomTom Model(s)
Go6000 and Go Superior
Hi
I have been using GO 6000 (which is very old) and recently upgraded to a Go Superior. When not on a route I would leave the map with direction up and select a zoom level and thus see around the area with traffic shown. With the Superior this does not work. The map can be shown direction up by pressing the diection arrow , but it keeps needing recentring and then zooms out far too far thus needing constant attention. I can't see any way to adjust this - any advice would be appreciated.
Is there any Tomtom unit which does not have this feature (ie like the 6000 but with the later features now available)

Hi
Have you looked in > setting > zoom and orientation?

Anyway, the zoom will always return to the same level.

i have all the zooms turned off and 2D set. When the unit switches on (not on a route) it seems to ignore this and goes to north up and wanders off requiring recentreing. When like this, the map info - Speed , speed limit, etc is not available
