Map Question: USA / USA_&_Canada

Curious, I was looking at the maps available. My TomTom currently has the USA & Canada maps. The filesize is about 850mb (if i remember right). However, there is also a USA only map that is around 780'ish mb. The Canadian maps are more of a 'Well, if i go there some day it could be nice to have' thing to keep as I've never been to Canada.

If I were to only get the Map of the USA, would it have more/be more accurate than my current map of the US provided in the USA & Canada package?

The file sizes being so close is what lead me to ask this question.
