Map lost

Hi Everyone,

Just wondered if anyone out there can assist me.

For the first time I thought I was doing myself a favour by updating my GO510 but instead wiped the map off it.

I am unable to use it as it has no map to show.

I am not clever with technology. I guess being stupid is not an excuse.

Oooops!

I guess I forgot to say the map is of the UK and I think it included Europe. But really I am interested in the UK map only as I have no use for European country map.

Do you have a backup you can restore from?

When you look at the contents of the unit using Windows Explorer, do you see any map folder on the unit?

have you tried the tom tom hom i did the same a couple of years ago i used tomtom home i seem to remember i just wiped everything off and tomtom home downloaded application software for device plus voices and map worth a try just backup what you have already on the device
