I JUST UPGRADE MY TOM TOM WITH THE VERSION MENCION IN THE TITLE.
WHEN I TURN ON IT DOESN'T LOAD.
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

What version firmware do you have on your unit? I suspect you need at least 8.3 to 'see' the 8.25 map.

Sorry, what map and version number are we talking about here? It may indeed be that application 8.01 for your model tom tom issupposed to be able to be used for 8.25 maps.

So...........your tom tom model is? Your map you downloaded is 8.25, you said, but what map 8.25? Western Europe?

I cannot see the firware because it doesn't allowed me to do nothing when i turn on the tomtom, it only says that the map cannot be load

Do a soft boot to shut off your unit . Then connect it to the cradel and usb and turn it on you will be connected to tom tom home. remove the application and shut down your tom tom Then restart it and the newq application should be available automatically.
