map for go 510

Dear Friends,

I didnt use my card when i brought my go 510 in May 2007, i was told that i can have one free upgrade , is it true? and if yes how to do so to upgrade to map7.x to use the map share ? i believe it wasn't available in the first version 6.65 and the firmware , but i can see it now as i upgraded to home v2 but its telling me that my map is out of date.

Also would like to know how to downgrade my tomtom go 510 to theold firmware if i want to .

N.B.: i am looking for the feature in calgary Alberta Canada as streets are changing a lot here.

my 510 is doing the same, can't wait for a repoose on this. Mine says update map to 665, which is what I have, support told me "on Monday after we fix our server that will go away" it didn't it is still trying to update the map that is already there.

at least its asking you to update

Mine is not updating anything, just a tiny file saying to update the camera services (i think its more into the plus service) one but nothing regarding maps , you know Calgary traffic is chamging everyday and you will need this map correction and will need to share it but i don't know what to do , actualy 70$ to update a device that i brought few months ago doesn't seem Convenience to me, specially that you can have a new device for 150$ (its true that it will not be go 510 , and will be one 3rd generation , but for me they are doing the same job)
and i want to be sure that i can use the registration card i have to have a free upgrade as told from best buy here.
