When you use the emulator on your pc/mac, can you make map corrections in the emulator or is it just emulating you making a correction?

I would suspect it is for real. As far as I know, only the satellite bars and battery level are simulations.

The first time I used "Operate my ONE" (after downgrading the firmware), I used it to enter a whole bunch of exit ramp name corrections. But I think they were lost -- later, my unit asked me if I wanted to correct all those locations again! I haven't had time to go through the process and see if I can identify a point of failure. So just be careful, and I'd suggest making any corrections you consider important the old-fashioned way, on the unit.

the emulator is far easier to change roads speeds and I can confirm that this works, so I'd hope that other changes would work as well. the emulator also works to add/delete favorites.

I have used the "Operate my GO" to move POI, change phone numbers and names; for that matter, I think I added a "blocked road" as well.

I think it works for all corrections.

Be sure to back out of the menu, then run the Update at least once to upload the changes (if you clicked Share) else your changes won't be shared until your next dock & update.
