Is there an easy way to just change the address of someone in "my favorites" after they have moved or do I have to delete them and put them in again with new address?

If you saved the favourite as an address, then you could edit 'the name'. However, just deleting and redoing seems the necessary thing.

Many suggest, for various reasons, you create a poi category as, say, 'Favourites' and add each individual poi as one of the items. That way, you can edit the poi, move it, and copy the entire favourites.ov2 file to a new map when necessary.

The favourites ARE kept in a file called mapsettings.cfg which used to be able to be copied from map version to map version so as to not lose your favourites but latest firmware seemed to have nixed that method.

What you CAN do is download the program, poiedit, from www.poiedit.com. This program can edit your current mapsettings.cfg file where will see each of your favourites as a row item and it can save each favourite as a poi.
