When I turn off my new start 55tm, it loose the route I already calculated.
Have a question also. Can I sync a tomtom on 2 different computers?

I have the TomTom Start 50M,it also looses the route when I turn it off,but if you tap on plan route and then tap recent destinations,it should be there and just tap on it. I can't help with the other question sorry.

. . . Can I sync a tomtom on 2 different computers?

Yes. I do so with mine. One caveat - be aware of where your backups are located. I make a full backup using Windows Explorer and have a copy on each computer I sync. This may be overkill, but it's always nice to have multiple copies of the all-important maps.

Thanks. I mean, can I use one gps and sync it with 2 different home account on 2 different computers?

You should use the SAME email address for log in on each computer having Home installed.

How to report map correction to make sure they will be on next map release http://mapfeedback.teleatlas.com/mapfeedback/index.php
In the past I have made quite a few reports to Tele Atlas and neither received a feed back nor saw the implementation of facts provided in over a year.

To my taste TomTom has a better reporting tool now, Map Share Reporter at http://www.tomtom.com/mapshare/tools/.

Most of my reports there have been marked as Accepted within two weeks although it did take 10 weeks for one.

No matter, it is virtually impossible to expect a change in the next map release as that one is being put to bed by the production team while the mapping team is already working on the one there after..

I did a map correction about a week ago and have already received an email saying they got it and plan on using it on the next map update.

Let's just say we'll be very surprised, but pleased, if your change makes it into the map release following your report. We find that it's usually one or two releases beyond that .. unless it was previously reported by you or another user and was already in the works.

That may be true but here is the email I ReCved-----------Thanks! We were able to use your input to improve our maps. This update will go out in our next release of our map database. This report is now closed.

Tele Atlas supplies maps to the companies that make devices or applications, not directly to the people who use them. We update the map we supply so these companies can incorporate the map update in their own systems. When this process is complete, your change will be made available to you. It may be possible to purchase an updated map; please contact your device manufacturer or application provider for further information.

Thanks again for your willingness to help keep Tele Atlas maps up-to-date and accurate!---------------------------We'll see,not that big a deal. It's a small dead end road that is mostly used by the people who live on it.
