Long trips - would be nice to see upcoming towns.

I just drove from Texas to Kansas and back. Often times I thought, sure would be nice to know which towns were coming up. The only thing I could come up with was to use the Browse Map function. I also thought I could create a POI file with all the significant cities and towns. Not a real slick solution.

Any other suggestions?

I'm afraid that the highway signs will give you more info than the TomTom.

Yes, the 'Browse map' function will work, but you can't fiddle with it while you're driving.

There is indeed a Cities_USA POI. It's huge.
I don't remember where I got it and I don't know whether it's appropriate to repost it here.
