I'm a fairly new XL 340S Live owner with the free three months deal. I bought the unit while on a long road trip but don't really use it much at home.
I'm at the end of the 3 month deal and am wondering if the Live Services for $9.99 a month is something that I can pay for whenever I take a road trip or is it something that I need to maintain a subscription to or lose it.
I can't see 10 bucks a month for something I'll only use during road trips a few times a year.
It was pretty handy to have the service on that last trip!
And, of course, the map update has nothing to do with Live Services, correct?
