I have just got done putting a bunch of POI's on my 910. went for a small trip and some of them dont show up even though I know they are in there. Checked to see if that particular one is in there and it is. Is there a limit on how many u can add on to the 910??

I know that you can take all your current custom POIs (ov2 files) and creat a NEW poi.dat file...

that way you may be able to see them all. But you lose the OEM POIs.

enough accromyns for ya?

There is a set limit o the number of user POI's that can be added. Go beyond that, and they will not appear.

IIRC that limit is 99, and I think that might include .bmps (not certain on that tho!), in which case you real limit is 49 user added POI categories.

There is no limit to the number of POI's that you can have in a category, so if needed you could merge similar categories (as TT do), e.g. restaurants.

To exceed this limit you would have to create a new poi.dat as battom has suggested.

The limit is 99 or 100 for the POIs that will show...I know because I went over and noticed that all added POIs were not showing. I cut it down to my favorite 100 POIs and they all show (if the limit is 99 then I have 1 POI that doesn't show but I will be merging some categories to get more room).

Thanks guys, much appreciated for the replys. Guess I need to pick my top 100 favs and stick with them. Lets just hope tomtom does lots of research when they have map upgrades so that as many poi's are up to date as possible.

pick and cut down, or merge like POIs best you can to keep them all as Spook mentioned above...

Several POI editor programs (POIEDIT for example) let you open subsequent files in APPEND mode, to join them to the 1st one.
