Wanted to know the size of the new map of NA when downloaded onto the device?
Just downloaded a new map of NA and it''s size on the device is 1204MB, but the new one on sale at the website says Map of NA size 1617MB. Called the TomTom customer service and they told me that the difference in the map sizes is because the maps get condensed on the device
Can someone verify the size of the new maps on their tt 720?

Map sizes vary according to the internal memory size the particular TT model has. Therefore, you will find USA and Canada for the ONE 1GB internal memory size models, then you have the North_America small and 2GB. The samller one for the GO 720 2GB internal memory size and the larger map for the GO 920 4GB memory size. The difference for the map is minimal if present, the biggest difference is in the included POI which is appreciably larger for the 920 model.
