Last stable version of Home SW for Win 7 and a Go 300 ?

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get a version of TomTom Home for a Go 300?

Home is provided free by TomTom but I can't find any links on their website to download earlier versions. Latest version is reported to not work with a 300.

GO 300 is no longer supported by Tomtom, so even if you find an older version of Tomtom Home you still won't be able to update.

I need the driver for Win7 so it's recognised by the OS. AFAIK, the driver comes with Home.

To answer my own question, v2_9_4_3058 works with a GO 300 in Win7. It sees the device and allows for backup and restore.

TomTom have removed all the download links for earlier versions of HOME, so I found the link below from another forum. It's from TomToms own download servers.

You don't need Tomtom Home to make a backup of your GPS.

A simple copy/paste of all the files that are on your GPS in a folder on your computer or on a USB key can do the trick.
