I've seen at least a couple (just on the first page!) of WRX install pictures. Anybody got a shot of their TomTom nicely placed in a Lancer Evo? I'm thinking about a mount that attaches to the dash using the two existing screw holes for the gauge cluster bezel that would place the TomTom centered just above and behind the steering wheel. Thoughts?
EDIT: Here are the screw holes I'm referring to.
Basically run a bar across those two points to secure it and then bring the mount out from that to position the device slightly above the dash centered with the steering wheel. This would all be to keep from having to drill into the top of the dash. I hate doing that.
Although, looking just now, it dawned one me that the standard TomTom mount might actually fit up there anyway if it can be contorted back in that direction. Will have to try that too.
