Has anyone ever had a TomTom go out on them half way through a trip? I mean break! Would be in pretty rough shape without a backup map of some sort.

I've had mine freeze on me once during a trip. Fortunately, I always keep a paper clip in the car. I put it in an empty SD card case for safe keeping.
